First page of my tutorials/guides sets! and my first tut lolool *feels stupid*

Preparing Artists Equipment and Materials- Please read

1. This is short guide, before we start learn making illustrations by pencils, are represented pencil brands which really are HIGLY recommended. Not only by me, but I did research on the art forums (WetCanvas) and definately what I've listed are best choice *only derwent signatures are missed, i never had chace to buy them XD*

2. Where to buy? I higly suggest to buy by online. Like dickblick.com (here polychromos pencil cost only 99cents not 2.5$!) ArtFolks.com or just ebay. Is easiest to find all pencils, all sets whatever you desire plus is very cheap.

Prismacolor- nie wystepuje
Art Grip- przewaznie jest w kazdym EMPIKU 8D
Derwenty- zwykle znajda sie w sklepie z sprzetem artystyczym gdzie sprzedaja farby olejne itd.
Polychromos- rarytasy, zwykle w profesjonalych sklepach. Jedynie wiem to w "Architektura", ul. Koszykowa w Warszawie.

3. About the "key to success". Yes, using only one brand is ok, but mixing with other brands is great- you can lead to perfection. Mixing hard and tiny art grips with soft and vibrant coloirsoft gives great effects for layering (in main tutorial will be explained). So, its good to have two brands in possesion. Here are two good mixtures:

-derwent coloursoft + art grip= on base layer you add coloursoft, and on top use fine sharpened art grips. Great details and quality of colours are guaranteed.

-Polychromos + Prismacolors= despite on not-so good quality pencils, they blend perfectly on dry great polychromoses. On base use polys, blend with light-coloured prisma it gives super smooth effect. This is my fave combo.
