This is a simple sketch of Zack in wolf form design. Also SOLDIER wolf
this is how i design characters. I worked on this a lot, how would looks wolves as SOLDIERs. No wear, because they have fur, just add some belts, pocket and armor.
and more important thing is- a sword. I was stucked how to put sword for wolf. Normally is impossible, especialy huge buster sword. Thanks to my friend, she gave me an idea- so i created way, sword is "floated" by electromagnetic energy, as you see on upper side is sketch how it looks.
Well, today my best friend visited me because she know im sick. We are rarely meeting. we were playing crisis core, and creating alternate version of this- in experiments, zack becomes a monster, no, a wolf. And we are working on this. Its just for fun
. We are just playing as creators, because i always dreamed to be character designer. Its really fun!

If it's a big, honkin' buster sword, you might want to consider placing it on his belt, as a normal sword would be, but with the 'sheath' attached far lower on the blade and the whole sword at an angle to counterbalance the weight...so that it would stretch across and over his rear at an angle, with the hilt pointing more downward, towards the front...if that makes sense
For some reason, the back...left leg really catches my eye. I love the positioning of it ^^
